Compliance Status
This website is designed to comply with the Polish Act of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Ustawa z dnia 4 kwietnia 2019 r. o dostępności cyfrowej stron internetowych i aplikacji mobilnych podmiotów publicznych) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level.
We strive to ensure that all content and functionality on meguri.space meets or exceeds these standards. While we aim for full compliance, some areas may still be in progress.
Accessibility Features
The following accessibility features are implemented on meguri.space:
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are fully operable via keyboard.
- Visible focus indicators: Clear, high-contrast focus outlines for keyboard navigation.
- Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is provided for keyboard and screen reader users.
- Semantic HTML: Logically structured content with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmarks.
- Responsive design: The site adapts to all screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
- Reduced motion support: All animations are disabled when the user has enabled "Reduce motion" in their operating system preferences.
- Screen reader compatibility: Decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology; meaningful content uses appropriate ARIA labels.
- Minimal JavaScript: The site is built with Astro and ships under 2 KB of client-side JavaScript, ensuring fast load times and broad compatibility.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist:
- The biorhythm ring visualization in the Hero section is decorative and conveys no essential information; it is hidden from screen readers.
- Some visual effects (aurora gradients, particle animations) may not be perceivable by all users; they are purely decorative and do not affect content comprehension.

This statement was prepared through self-assessment using automated accessibility auditing tools (Lighthouse, ARC Toolkit) and manual testing with keyboard navigation and VoiceOver screen reader. The statement was prepared on February 28, 2026 and last reviewed on February 28, 2026.
